Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a direct strategy plan for the EU, working closely with global purchase and design teams.
  • Identify key commodities and suppliers within the EU region, considering key supply risk factors.
  • Support the EU Direct Purchasing Manager on commercial contracting, focusing on localization with EU suppliers for new and existing sourcing projects.
  • Assess and evaluate suppliers to undertake performance reviews, driving improvement activities.
  • Support project purchasing and supply chain teams across the EU to ensure AESC maximizes supply logistics improvements and avoids production delays.
Requirements:
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI, SAP.
  • Fluent in English (C1 level) and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong industrial awareness, investigating new supply markets to assess existing and new supplier capabilities.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel within the EU and sometimes Asia.
