Manufacturing Process Engineer

Cherry Professional is recruiting for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to drive strategic continuous improvement of manufacturing processes throughout the business. As a key member of the production team, you will expedite and control change throughout the factory to facilitate manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Optimise Local Manufacturing Processes: Maximise efficiency and effectiveness by analysing and reporting on production processes, methods, schedules, downtime, cycle times, availability of machines, and waste management.
- Lead Strategic Improvement Projects: From conception to completion, deliver engaging change experiences for internal customers, ensuring ME Maturity Assessment targets are achieved.
- Participate in Local Cell and Production Meetings: As needed, contribute to discussions and decisions that impact manufacturing efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and Project Manage Improvement Initiatives: Identify and address business needs, ensuring a clear and holistic understanding of internal and external customers' expectations.
- Ensure Compliance and Awareness: Familiarise yourself with company policies and procedures, adhering to your agreed scope of work.
- Education: HNC/HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline (desirable)
- Improvement Process Management: Proven experience in building strong internal and external customer relationships, decision-making, and problem-solving.
- Local Process Expertise: Knowledge of manufacturing production and processes, with a focus on continuous improvement.
