About the Role

UK Management College is seeking a skilled lecturer to join its team as a Lecturer in Health and Social Care. This full-time or part-time position involves designing, developing, and delivering high-quality educational experiences for undergraduate students in Health and Social Care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching & Curriculum Development:
  • Create engaging lectures and seminars across core Health and Social Care modules.
  • Develop and revise curriculum materials to ensure alignment with current industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Apply varied teaching techniques to address diverse student needs and improve learning outcomes.
  • Student Assessment & Support:

  • Develop fair and transparent assessment methods, providing timely feedback to support student development.
  • Act as a personal tutor, supporting students academically and pastorally.
  • Research & Scholarship:
  • Engage in scholarly activities that contribute to the field of Health and Social Care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on research projects, publishing findings that impact teaching and practice.
  • Networking & Partnerships:
  • Establish and maintain links with health and social care providers for student placements, research, and community projects.
  • Represent the institution in conferences and networks relevant to Health and Social Care education and research.
