Job Description
We are seeking a Public Policy and Advocacy Officer to join our team. This role will involve working closely with the External Affairs Manager and Programme Team to support the Foundation's policy and public affairs engagement with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in policy or public affairs, with strong analytical and communication skills. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating the stakeholder database, monitoring the external environment, and providing administrative support for influencing activities.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with the External Affairs Manager and Programme Team to support the Foundation's policy and public affairs engagement
• Maintain and update the stakeholder database
• Monitor the external environment and stay up-to-date with policy, parliamentary, and sector developments
• Provide administrative support for influencing activities, including managing events and arranging meetings and roundtables
• Assist in preparing briefings for colleagues ahead of meetings with key stakeholders
• Support the Communications Manager in monitoring and drafting social media posts and blogs on policy content, political events, and public affairs activity
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of £32,000 - £42,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
