Nationwide Foundation - Communications Policy and Public Affairs Role

The Nationwide Foundation is a charitable organisation that seeks to improve the lives of people in need by funding causes and influencing change. We are looking for a skilled public affairs officer to join our external affairs team.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of our policy and public affairs work, underpinning the successful execution of the Nationwide Foundation's strategy. This role requires a proactive and politically astute individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work at pace as part of a team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and updating the Foundation's stakeholder database
  • Preparing briefings for colleagues ahead of meetings with key stakeholders
  • Drafting and coordinating responses to government consultations
  • Identifying and acting on opportunities to influence

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to make a meaningful contribution to the Nationwide Foundation's mission. We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
