About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Premises Manager to join our site team at Academics LTD, a friendly Secondary school based in Chatham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our premises, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and providing exceptional support to our staff and students.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You should also be comfortable using basic tools and equipment for maintenance and repair tasks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the overall appearance and condition of the school premises, including classrooms, corridors, and outdoor areas.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, painting, and repairing fixtures and fittings.
- Ensure that all necessary health and safety procedures are followed, including regular inspections and risk assessments.
- Liaise with staff and contractors to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
