Facilities Management Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at a Secondary school in Chatham.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the school's facilities, including maintenance and minor repairs, porterage and basic operations, and school operations.
Main Objectives:
- Maintenance and Minor Repairs: Oversee general maintenance duties and minor repairs and refurbishments to maintain the school's buildings and grounds.
- Porterage and Basic Operations: Manage porterage and basic operations, ensuring the school's facilities are clean and well-maintained.
- School Operations: Coordinate the planning and execution of events, including setup, maintenance, and removal of equipment and materials.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and school policies related to health, safety, and environmental issues.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work at heights and handle physical demands of the role
Salary and Benefits:
- A competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
