At Protocol Education, we are seeking an English educator to join our team of professionals working with secondary schools in Wiltshire. As an English Teacher/Professional, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of young people.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for English and a commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives and education. While Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, we also welcome subject specialists or those with experience working with young people or in education.

This English teaching position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, developing engaging lesson plans and delivering effective instruction. You will assess student progress, provide feedback, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance learning outcomes.

We offer competitive compensation, with qualified teachers paid according to the scale and unqualified educators based on their experience. The estimated salary for this role is approximately £35,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging English lessons
  • Evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Developing and implementing effective teaching strategies to enhance learning
  • Creating a supportive learning environment
  • Collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development and student support

To succeed in this English teacher role, you will require:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in English or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for English
  • Proven experience teaching English at secondary school level, preferably with QTS
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students
