Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Associate to uphold the cleanliness and safety of our gym environment. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and welcoming for our members.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive cleaning of all gym facilities, including exercise areas, changing rooms, showers, equipment, and communal spaces. Regularly sanitise and disinfect surfaces to promote a hygienic atmosphere. Manage waste disposal by emptying trash receptacles, replacing liners, and adhering to proper disposal protocols. Monitor and maintain the inventory of cleaning materials, alerting management when restocking is necessary. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth and secure gym experience for all patrons. Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues to the relevant department. Consistently uphold the cleanliness and safety standards set by Frasers Group.

Required Qualifications

Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously. Familiarity with effective cleaning methods, sanitation practices, and safe chemical usage. Excellent time management abilities and the capacity to prioritise tasks efficiently. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to function well within a team. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
