Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Operative

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Operative to join our team at the ACC Liverpool Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and event spaces.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in building services and be able to demonstrate experience working with a wide range of building fabric and fixtures and fittings. This will include joinery and door furniture, building fabric repairs, painting and decorating, plumbing and sanitary fittings, roofing systems, flooring and ceiling systems, drainage and associated systems, and basic electrical knowledge.

You will also be required to participate in our comprehensive PPM regime and be involved in the mark out of spaces for exhibition builds and assisting the FME's with installation of electrical and water and waste supplies for our event programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to building fabric and fixtures and fittings
  • Participate in our comprehensive PPM regime
  • Assist with the installation of electrical and water and waste supplies for event programme
  • Mark out spaces for exhibition builds
  • Monitor the work carried out by service partners
  • Ensure compliance with current Health and Safety regulations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in building services
  • Experience working with a wide range of building fabric and fixtures and fittings
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Excellent working knowledge of current Health and Safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
