We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Operative to join our team at Exhibition Centre Liverpool. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building services, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including joinery, door furniture, building fabric repairs, painting, and decorating.
- Perform plumbing and sanitary fittings, roofing systems, flooring and ceiling systems, and drainage and associated systems.
- Assist with the installation of electrical and water and waste supplies for events.
- Monitor the work carried out by service partners and ensure compliance with current Health and Safety regulations.
- Develop and complete risk assessments, work permits, and procedures for facility maintenance activities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in Building Services, with experience working with a wide range of building fabric and fixtures and fittings.
- Excellent working knowledge of current Health and Safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
