As a Datacentre Operations Specialist, you'll work with a team of skilled engineers to provide support within our Datacentres. The role is datacentre based, with hands-on work dealing with hardware in a datacentre environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitoring and prompt handling of requests via various ticketing systems in line with SLAs
  2. Providing hands and eyes support to customers and internal teams
  3. Providing operational support for services in remote datacentres
  4. Performing hardware rack and stack of servers
  5. Performing troubleshooting, failed component replacement, and power cycling hardware
  6. Assisting in moving hardware equipment
  7. Provisioning of new servers
  8. Occasional travel to datacentres based in London for server installation, troubleshooting, and/or decommission

Requirements

  1. Good understanding of server hardware and troubleshooting
  2. Basic understanding of Networking and internet concepts
  3. Basic knowledge of common Operating Systems such as Windows & Linux
  4. Basic knowledge of common web hosting control panels
