Job Title: Postgraduate Research Officer
About the Role:
The School of Science at Loughborough University is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Postgraduate Research Officer. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues from the Doctoral College Office, the School's Associate Dean for Research and Innovation, and the Director of Doctoral Programmes to deliver excellent customer service and manage the day-to-day administration of our postgraduate research provision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the administration of postgraduate research, including PGR recruitment, administration, and progression processes
- Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to postgraduate research
- Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and external partners
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth delivery of postgraduate research programs
Requirements:
- Strong commitment to providing an outstanding service
- Ability to work flexibly and manage complex workloads
- Excellent practical IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Background in postgraduate research administration is desirable
