We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance of our industrial plant in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational continuity through effective and safe maintenance of equipment and facilities.

The primary mission of the Maintenance Director is to minimize downtime and maintenance costs, optimize resources, and ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing engineering maintenance teams and a strong understanding of the food industry. They will also have knowledge of optimization of facilities and processes, as well as excellent leadership and planning abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain preventive and predictive maintenance plans at local level.
  • Maintain a CMMS program at local level.
  • Identify and maintain Stocks of Critical Parts
  • Collaborate with corporate and local Engineering Department in the design of new lines, modifications and optimization of equipment and auxiliary systems.
  • Leading, coaching and developing maintenance department
  • Providing health and safety practices within the site
  • Managing KPI's
  • Manage contractors and suppliers
  • Manage maintenance and CAPEX budgets
  • Collaborate in the development of production processes, procedures and instructions ensuring maximum efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Higher National Diploma or higher
  • Management experience of engineering maintenance teams
  • Essential experience in the food industry
  • Nebosh or IOSH Qualified and Practiced are desired
  • Knowledge and experience in optimization of facilities and Processes
  • Customer-oriented and with good leadership and planning ability
