Patient Safety Operations Manager

Job Purpose:
As a Senior Patient Safety Specialist at Russell Tobin, you will support the management of Patient Safety operational processes to ensure compliance with global and local procedures, national and international regulations, and standards for the vigilance of marketed and investigational products.
Major Accountabilities:
- Manage the collection, processing, and reporting of adverse event reports for all products, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Develop and implement local procedures to ensure compliance with global procedures and national requirements.
- Perform reconciliation with other departments for potential adverse events and ensure the maintenance of relevant local databases.
- Prepare and submit KPI reports on compliance and identify root causes for late reporting.
- Develop and update training materials for vigilance and ensure training of associates on relevant procedures.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Quality and timely reporting of KPI and safety reports.
- No critical findings in audits or inspections.
- Successful onboarding and mentoring of associates.
- Internal and external customer satisfaction.
Job Dimensions:
Education & Qualifications:
Graduate in life science degree or equivalent training and experience.
Experience:
2 years as Patient Safety Specialist and experience in overseeing the workload of others.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of national and international regulations for pharmacovigilance.
- Knowledge of pharmacological and medical terminology.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Quality and results-oriented.
- Project management skills.
