About the Role

Vestas is seeking an experienced Electrical Operations Safety Specialist to join our team in the North Central Europe (NCE) region. As an Electrical Operations Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe operation of our wind turbines and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement electrical safety standards and procedures to ensure compliance with Vestas' Safe System of Work (SSoW) and electrical safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with platform management and stakeholders to identify and mitigate electrical safety risks.
  • Provide training and guidance to personnel on electrical safety procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to electrical safety, including procedures, training records, and incident reports.
  • Work closely with the Operations Development team to ensure electrical safety is integrated into all aspects of our operations.

Requirements

  • Electrical or mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations, including EN-1 Operation of Electrical Installations and EAWR.
  • Previous experience in electrical safety or a related field, preferably in the wind industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
