Job Title: Water Collections Driver

At Eurofins UK Food Testing, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Collections Driver to join our team. As a Water Collections Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering water samples from various locations throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and deliver water samples from customer premises and water collection points using a pre-planned regional route.
  • Operate a tablet-based system to complete collection and delivery tasks as requested.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately, including temperature and time records, and report to the Logistics Management team.
  • Keep collection storage rooms clean and tidy at all times, and clean fridges and spillages as required.
  • Ensure bottle stocks are sufficient at drop-off locations, and replace and report on faulty probes within fridge units.
  • Return collections to site safely and securely, and deliver to the correct locations.
  • Communicate regularly with planners, and perform daily and weekly vehicle checks, reporting any defects to the logistics manager.
  • Report any accidents or breakdowns, and ensure the vehicle is locked and secure when unattended.
  • Promote the Eurofins image by wearing a clean, neat, and tidy uniform, and maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle.
  • Provide a high level of internal and external customer care, and drive company vehicles safely and courteously in accordance with Department of Transport requirements.
Requirements:
  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK road network.
  • Appreciation of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
  • A customer-focused approach with a pleasant demeanor.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • A positive can-do approach.
  • Experience of chilled multi-drop collection and delivery, working to strict timed deadlines.
  • Full UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points.
