Female Support Worker

UKCIL Ltd is seeking an experienced Care Assistant to provide support for a teenage girl in Morpeth. This is a part-time role, approximately 13 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate of £13.09/hour.
About the JobThe successful candidate will be required to provide one-to-one support for a young person with a neurological condition, enabling her to access the local community and participate in leisure activities. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for close supervision, monitoring physical changes, and intervening when necessary.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, able to take reasonable care of their own safety and the safety of others, and has a valid driving license with business insurance. Full training will be provided where necessary, including epilepsy awareness and first aid.
Key Requirements- Experience working with children or willingness to learn
- Ability to react quickly to changes in the child's condition
- Support with personal care tasks such as dressing, undressing, bathing, and maintaining personal appearance
- A competitive hourly rate of £13.09/hour
- Approximately 6 weeks' holiday pro-rata
