Senior Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled Senior Support Worker to join our team in Morpeth. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting adults with physical disabilities and possess excellent communication skills.
This is a part-time position, 18 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate of £13.09. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling the independence of a young man with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, supporting daily tasks, and facilitating social activities. Flexibility is essential as each day will be different.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A positive understanding of people with disabilities.
- Genuine interest in social care.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- An Enhanced DBS Check.
- A Full UK driving license and own car.
In addition to your existing qualifications, we require the following training:
- Safeguarding Adults/Children.
- Food Hygiene.
- First Aid.
- Hand hygiene.
Please note that a Car driver with business insurance is preferable but not essential.
