Accounting and Administration Professional

About the Role:
This Finance Administrator position is available in Nelson, offering a part-time opportunity with the potential to transition to full-time. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for various accounting and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage sales and purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Resolve discrepancies and issues within the ledgers, maintaining the integrity of our financial records
- Verify payments and track debtor records, chasing payments as needed
- Manage payroll and pension processing, ensuring timely completion and accuracy
- Reconcile supplier statements and complete bank reconciliations
- Produce monthly management reports, providing valuable insights into our financial performance
- Support the timely completion of payroll and HR requirements
- Offer administrative and secretarial support to directors, as required
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts software
- Strong understanding of financial ledgers and cash books
- Exceptional communication, organisational, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a small team
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel
Salary Information:
The salary for this position is approximately £24,700 per annum, based on a full-time equivalent.
