FitzRoy Residential Care in Rayleigh is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, helping them to live fulfilling and independent lives.

About the Role:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support, and who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our service users. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized care and support to our service users, including personal care, support with daily living tasks, and promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care and support to service users, including personal care, support with daily living tasks, and promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to identify and achieve service users' goals and aspirations.
  • Support service users to participate in a range of activities and interests, including swimming, trampolining, music, and movies.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to service users.

Requirements:

  • Full driving license and willingness to drive FitzRoy vehicles.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and sleep-ins.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide support to colleagues.
