Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering high-quality education and supporting the learning process of students across various year groups.\
  • Lead small group interventions or 1:1 support sessions to help pupils who need additional assistance with literacy, numeracy, or other subjects.\
  • Work closely with class teachers to maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment.\
  • Contribute to lesson planning, preparing resources, and marking work as required.\
  • Help track and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and identifying areas where further support may be needed.\
  • Safeguard the well-being of all pupils, adhering to safeguarding policies and promoting a safe and secure learning environment.\
  • Support children with diverse needs and abilities, promoting inclusion and equal opportunities.\
  • Promote a collaborative and supportive school community, working closely with staff and parents to achieve shared goals.\

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a teaching assistant or HLTA in a primary school setting.\
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and ability to differentiate learning for various abilities.\
  • Excellent communication skills, including building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.\
  • A passion for education and commitment to ensuring every child reaches their full potential.\
  • Patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm to support children with diverse needs and abilities.\
