Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee and run the daily food and beverage operation in one of our fantastic restaurants within the Celtic Manor Resort. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of hospitality professionals to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve business objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase revenue.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety in the restaurant and surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to design and implement menus, promotions, and special events.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal levels and minimize waste.
- Conduct regular staff training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5-star property or high-end restaurant.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
