About the Role

The Royal Navy is seeking a skilled Navy Engineering Management Professional to join its team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a team of specialist engineering technicians, overseeing complex projects and ensuring the smooth operation of naval vessels.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide guidance, support, and advice to your team, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Problem-Solving: Use sophisticated equipment to solve complex engineering problems, often working under pressure.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment and systems are functioning correctly, including those on high-profile vessels like the Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carrier.
  • Team Welfare: Look after the morale, training, and development of your team, making decisions about complex engineering problems quickly and effectively.

  • A competitive salary of £33,000 - £41,000 per annum, with opportunities for progression.

Requirements
  • A minimum age of 18, with a maximum age of 39.
  • All Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) degrees will be considered.
  • A minimum of 96 UCAS points, with at least 64 points in maths and an engineering-based science.
  • British citizenship or dual nationality, with restrictions applying to some roles.
  • A Body Mass Index (BMI) between 18 and 28.
