In the Royal Navy, we're looking for a skilled Galley Manager to join our team. As a Galley Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of cooks and creating menus that cater to the diverse tastes and dietary needs of your crewmates. You'll work in a dynamic and challenging environment, developing your cookery skills and contributing to the success of your ship's company.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £39,000 per annum, depending on experience. You'll also receive Earned Voyage Leave (EVL) of 21 days for every month spent on board ship, membership in a Civil Service Pension Scheme, world-class training, and the potential to travel the world.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess strong leadership skills, a passion for cooking, and the ability to work effectively in a team. You'll require a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Professional Cookery or equivalent and a Level 2 Certificate in Food Safety or higher. Experience in a professional catering environment is highly desirable, and you must be a British or Irish national or a Commonwealth citizen who has lived in the UK continuously for the past 5 years.
