Care and Support Assistant for Mental Health

We're seeking an experienced and caring Care and Support Assistant for Mental Health to join our team at Secure Care UK - Maidstone Base. As a key member of our secure patient transport team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and respectful transportation of patients requiring mental health care.
Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional care and support to our patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout their journey. You'll need to be a passionate, empathetic, and highly motivated individual who thrives working in a close-knit team to deliver high-quality care.
A valid full UK manual driving license, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential requirements for this role. Experience working with vulnerable individuals or in a healthcare setting is beneficial, but comprehensive training will be provided.
We offer a competitive salary of £12.37 per hour (blended rate) and a range of benefits, including cycle to work scheme, refer-a-friend scheme, and employee assistance program.
