Regional Sales Director

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join GB001 Marsh Ltd as a Regional Sales Manager, where you will play a key role in driving sales growth and success within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of the annual growth strategy for the business within the region, working closely with the Regional Sales Leader.
- Develop and coach colleagues within the regional sales team, supporting their career development and helping them to achieve their sales targets.
- Identify opportunities for new business and drive the new business funnel, while delivering personal sales targets.
- Be visible across all offices within the region, leading by example and setting standards for quality and compliance.
- Lead, support and execute national and international growth campaigns in the region, chairing regular sales meetings and advocating the correct use of pipeline management sales tools.
- Provide monthly data-driven management reports on performance and pipeline, seeking and building strong relationships at executive and operational levels in the region.
- Work within Marsh compliance procedures and guidelines, leading by example and setting standards for quality and compliance.
Requirements:
- Experience in a sales or client-facing role, with line management experience preferred.
- A proven record of achieving targeted results and a proven track record in delivery.
- Technical insurance competency with an eagerness to continuously develop, and a strong understanding of client business issues, needs and expectations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, negotiating and influencing skills, and analytical and problem-solving skills.
