Financial Reporting Team Lead

Citigroup, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Team Lead to join our Fund Accounting Operations team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the production of interim and year-end financial statements for UK Authorised Funds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Financial Reporting Team in the production of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of financial statements.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, with a strong understanding of UK accounting legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
  • Qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ICAS, ACCA).
