Job Title: Fund Accounting Senior Supervisor

As a Fund Accounting Senior Supervisor at Citigroup Global Markets Limited, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting for our UK clients. This is a highly specialized team that requires a deep understanding of UK accounting legislative knowledge, particularly the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) 2014 for Financial Statements of UK Authorized Funds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all deliveries are met in accordance with client service level agreements and key performance indicators.
  • Provide guidance to resolve problems, escalations, and complex/escalated transactions.
  • Drive a culture of innovation and improvements to enhance efficiencies.
  • Support staff coaching and development.
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in financial services and fund accounting is essential.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Investment Association 'Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) - Financial Statements of UK Authorized Funds.'
  • Experience in staff coaching & development.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, and prioritize within tight deadlines while maintaining total accuracy.
  • Qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICAS / ACCA).
  • Bachelor's degree / University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Self-motivated, people skills, client-focused, responsible for actions, structured, and organized.
