Fund Accountant Associate

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accountant Associate to join our team at State Street. As a Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing NAV Packs and other reporting of the highest quality and accuracy in a timely manner to meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Valuation for Life & Pension and Regulated Funds and ensure that all relevant checks to the funds' NAV's have been made.
- Ensure successful delivery of daily prices by agreed deadlines.
- Perform and manage cash and stock accounting vs custody reconciliations.
- Complete/Review other regular periodic deliverables to the client in line with SLA (eg Yields, KPIs).
- Deliver accurate work in accordance require deadlines/deliverables.
- Ensure the line manager and others, as appropriate, are kept aware of all issues / problems / queries / work in progress that may impact upon the quality of service being given.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients, third parties and colleagues, communicating effectively through formalised reporting and ad hoc liaison where appropriate.
- Assist Team Supervisor in implementing new procedures and controls,
- Provide guidance and training to less experienced staff.
Requirements
- Accountancy or Business related degree (preferred).
- Fund accounting and/or pricing experience (preferred).
- Knowledge and understanding of investment regulations (preferred).
- PC literacy and competency in use of spreadsheets and word processing.
