Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accounting Senior Supervisor to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our Financial Reporting Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely production of financial statements for UK Authorised Funds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, including UK Open Ended Investment Companies (OEICs), UK Unit Trusts, and Property Authorised Investment Funds (PAIFs)
  • Collaborate with the Financial Reporting Team to ensure compliance with the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) 2014 for Financial Statements of UK Authorised Funds
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on complex transactions and issues
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with financial reporting
Requirements
  • Proven experience in fund accounting and financial reporting, with a strong understanding of UK accounting legislation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ICAS, ACCA) or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
