About the Role
Suffolk County Council's Healthy Child Service is looking for an experienced Health Visitor to join their team. In this position, you will work closely with families to promote healthy development and address any concerns they may have. You will be responsible for leading the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme 0-5, which includes assessing and planning for the needs of children from birth to 5 years old. This role requires a strong understanding of child development and the ability to build relationships with families.

Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Leading the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme 0-5
  • Conducting assessments and care planning for children from birth to 5 years old
  • Championing health promotion and reducing inequalities in healthcare
  • Providing universal health reviews and targeted support to families
  • Maintaining NMC registration and adhering to The Code
  • Safeguarding children through collaboration and assessments
