Nurse Deputy Home Manager Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Home Manager to work in a care home based in the Suffolk area. You will be working for a leading healthcare provider.

This care home is registered with the CQC to treat complex needs, which only qualified nurses are allowed to provide. The home provides exceptional residential, nursing and dementia care in a residential community.

**To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**

As the Deputy Manager, your key duties include:

  • Managing and having responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements
  • Ensuring service users receive the highest standards of professional support, promoting growth and independence

The following skills and experience would be beneficial for the role:

  • Previous Deputy Home Manager experience
  • The ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards
  • The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams
  • Promoting ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £55,000 per annum. This position is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours a week on days.
