An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Care Home Deputy Manager (Nursing) in Suffolk.

As our Deputy Manager, you will assist in managing operations within the home to achieve goals and ensure high-quality care. You will oversee the care staff and assume full management in the Home Manager's absence.

You will train and supervise care staff, assist with pre-admission assessments, and maintain accurate care plans and records. Effective communication with residents' families and other organizations is essential.

  • Engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care services.
  • Identify referral pathways for safeguarding adults/abuse.
  • Have a good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.
  • Promote ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs.

Education and Qualification

NMC registered nurse with relevant experience is essential.
