Deputy Nursing Home Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational leader to join our team as a Deputy Nursing Home Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and engaging your team to deliver high-quality care and support to our residents.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage a team of care professionals to deliver exceptional care and support to residents.
  • Assist the Home Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the care home, including audits, rotas, recruitment, mentoring, and appraisals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care and support provided to residents.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure the care home meets the required standards and regulations.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within adult social care.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the care home.
