Senior Care Support Worker

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Support Worker to join our team. As a Residential Senior Carer, you will provide direct care and support to our residents, while also contributing to the development and implementation of care plans.
About the Role
You will work closely with our residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to understand their needs and preferences. Your expertise in care delivery, risk assessment, and medication management will be valuable in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care and support to residents, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans, including risk assessments and medication management
• Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care delivery
• Contribute to the overall success of the care team, through effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in residential care, with a focus on care delivery and teamwork
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Salary and Benefits
