**Job Title:** Resident Support Officer
We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Resident Support Officer to join our team at a Barchester care home. As a Resident Support Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing individualised care and support to residents, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and preferences.
- Supporting residents with their physical and emotional needs, including assistance with daily living activities and medication management.
- Encouraging independence and autonomy among residents, promoting confidence and self-esteem.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in caring for older people, with a focus on providing person-centred care and support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues.
- Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
**Salary:** £20,000 - £22,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
