Job Title: Clinical Psychologist Team Manager

About the Opportunity:

The NHS is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist Team Manager to join their team in Bedfordshire and Luton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Practitioner Psychologist to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a team of clinical psychologists to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality mental health services.
  • Develop and implement mental health strategies and plans to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide specialist psychological consultation, advice, and support.
  • Conduct trauma-informed assessments, risk assessments, and collaborative safety planning in community mental health care settings.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent training as an applied practitioner.
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Substantial experience of working as a qualified Practitioner Psychologist with people with complex emotional needs associated with a diagnosis of personality disorder.
  • Experience of conducting trauma-informed assessments, risk assessments, and collaborative safety planning in a community mental health care setting.
  • Leadership Training.

Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum.
