About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Activity Assistant to join our team at Waverley Residential Home in Galashiels. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Activity Teams to deliver high-quality care and activities to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Activity Teams in planning and delivering activities that promote socialization, recreation, and relaxation.
  • Work collaboratively with Activity Teams to understand individual resident needs and preferences.
  • Facilitate group activities and events that promote engagement and enjoyment.
  • Contribute to the development of activity programs that meet the needs of our residents.

Requirements

  • PVG Adults registration (we will support you through the process).
