Job Title: Derby-based Coaching and Assessment Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Derby-based Coaching and Assessment Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring learners, conducting assessments, and completing reviews in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, excellent coaching and mentoring skills, and experience working with apprenticeship standards. You will also possess a sector-specific qualification, such as a Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Healthcare, and be familiar with the Ofsted inspection framework.

In this role, you will work closely with learners, line managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all elements of the learner journey are supported. You will provide constructive, professional, and relevant feedback to learners, helping them to gain the Diploma and full L3 Apprenticeship standard of Senior Healthcare Support Worker.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor learners, conducting assessments and completing reviews in a timely manner
  • Provide constructive, professional, and relevant feedback to learners
  • Work closely with learners, line managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and submit paperwork within agreed timescales

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in healthcare, with a strong background in coaching and mentoring
  • Familiarity with apprenticeship standards and the Ofsted inspection framework
  • Sector-specific qualification, such as a Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Healthcare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave.
