The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team in the Airdrie and Coatbridge area. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with daily living tasks, including support to appointments, shopping, meal planning, cooking, housework, finances, medication, and personal care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily living tasks, promoting independence and dignity
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and cook meals, ensuring a healthy and balanced diet
- Manage finances, including budgeting and bill paying
- Accompany individuals to appointments and activities
- Provide emotional support and companionship
Requirements
- Driver with a full UK driving licence
- Ability to work well in a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Ability to cook
- Confidence in the use of computers
