About the Role

The Control Systems Engineer will be part of a team delivering Systems Integration for projects mainly in the food industry. This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established global manufacturer, acknowledged as a leading provider of industrial process and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Developing PLC, HMI and SCADA software to meet the client's specific requirements
  2. Participating in the whole project life cycle, from initial design to commissioning
  3. Liaising with customers, suppliers and the rest of the team to ensure successful project delivery
  4. Performing testing with customers to ensure software meets their needs
  5. Carrying out on-site commissioning to ensure smooth system operation

Requirements

We are looking for a Control Systems Engineer with experience in PLC and SCADA/HMI platforms, a desire to learn new technologies, and a background working with customers delivering projects. A good understanding of setting up, commissioning, and fault finding of industrial networks would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an engineering environment, enjoy working in a supportive team environment, and take pride in doing a good job.

What We Offer

Our client offers a competitive salary of £55,000 - £62,500 depending on experience, a company pension scheme, 25 Days holiday, plus bank holidays, a profit share scheme, and a share scheme.
