Chief Executive Officer

Our client, a renowned Housing Association, seeks a visionary leader to propel the organization towards its strategic goals. As Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Association, driving excellence in equality, performance, quality of services, financial viability, and organizational governance.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and propose strategies for endorsement and ensure delivery of approved policies.
- Cultivate a positive culture of organizational excellence, focusing on equality, performance, quality of services, financial viability, and organizational governance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders, including local authorities, community groups, funders, and residents.
- Develop and implement a strategic vision that aligns with the housing association's mission and objectives.
- Ensure solid understanding of financial management principles, budget preparation, and resource allocation in a housing context.
- Make strong decision-making abilities with a focus on data-driven approaches and stakeholder feedback.
- Minimum of five years experience in a senior management position, either operating as CEO or reporting directly to the CEO, within a medium-sized organization, preferably within not-for-profit organizations or the public sector.
- In-depth understanding of housing policy, legislation, and regulatory frameworks in the context of social and affordable housing.
- Familiarity with models of social housing finance, development, and asset management.
- Excellent academic background, preferably with appropriate professional qualification.
