About the Role:

The primary responsibility of this position is to collect and process blood specimens from patients for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collect blood samples from patients via venipuncture or other methods as required.
  2. Label, centrifuge, and store specimens according to established procedures.
  3. Ensure accurate labeling and identification of specimens.
  4. Transport specimens to the laboratory for analysis.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

  • Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of New York.
  • Minimum 6 months' experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year.
