About the Role
We are excited to offer a Clinical Technologist post in Radiation Protection at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust. As a member of the Medical Physics Department, you will play a vital role in supporting the safe use of radiation and related technologies within the hospital. This position will provide administrative support for the Radiation Protection Group, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.

Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include managing day-to-day interactions with clients, booking audits, coordinating training activities, and providing technical assistance as needed. You will also work closely with the admin team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across departments. To succeed in this role, you will require strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in using office software. A degree-level education and experience working with quality management systems are also desirable.

Person Specification
To be considered for this role, you will need to possess a Level 4 diploma in healthcare science or equivalent experience. You should also have excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and deal with occasional distressing circumstances. Basic knowledge of radiation protection services and their organization would be advantageous but not essential.
