We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Planned Community Therapy Service in Coventry. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional community-based therapy and supporting patients to improve their quality of life and achieve their goals.
The clinical caseload is varied and interesting, and you will have the opportunity to work with a mix of conditions, including neurological, musculoskeletal, falls, orthopaedics, and management of long-term conditions. You will also have the chance to be part of our falls prevention service, 'Strong and Steady', which is a 6-week programme offering education, advice, and a tailored exercise programme.
You will be based at Newfield House, Kingfield Road, Coventry, and will be required to travel around Coventry and surrounding areas. You must have a full valid UK driving licence and access to a car to be eligible for this post.
We are a dynamic service providing patient-centred assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation to adults in Coventry. Referrals are received from GPs or other community clinicians. We are a supportive, dynamic team offering robust supervision as well as informal discussions to support each other with caseload management.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team and be part of an organisation that is committed to supporting your growth and development within your role and beyond.
About UsUniversity Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is one of the largest teaching Trusts in the UK, rated as good by the Care Quality Commission. We are proud of our employees across our hospital sites, with high-quality patient care at the heart of everything we do.
We are committed to building an organisation that makes full use of the talents, skills, experience, and different perspectives available in our diverse society. You will support the supervision and development of others, including students, and will have opportunities for participating in various service development projects and attending regular in-service training.
We would welcome an informal chat or visit from anyone who would like to know more about the role. Please contact Rebecca Fraser, Lead Physiotherapist, for more information.
