Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as a Senior Paediatric Respiratory Physiotherapist. The successful candidate will have a strong background in respiratory physiotherapy, with experience working with children and young people. They will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, providing specialist assessment and intervention, and delivering training programmes to a wide range of professionals.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Paediatric Respiratory Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a diverse caseload of children and young people with respiratory physiotherapy needs
  • Providing specialist assessment and intervention, including clinical respiratory CYP clinical assessment and formulation of management plans and reports
  • Delivering training programmes, including competency-based training and assessment for a wide range of professionals
  • Working autonomously and alongside other Allied Health Professionals, Consultants, Community Paediatricians, Community Children's Nurses, education staff, and social services to deliver a high standard of care for children and young people in Coventry

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Physiotherapy degree or equivalent
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council
  • Excellent written communication and IT skills
  • Postgraduate training relevant to the client group
  • Transferable skills as a qualified Physiotherapist, with clinical respiratory physiotherapy experience and transferable skills to a paediatric caseload
