Job Description

The School of Engineering at Economicsnetwork offers a range of courses, including apprenticeships in manufacturing, materials science, civil engineering, aerospace, and nuclear engineering. We collaborate with diverse employers in the region, such as Rolls-Royce plc, Lucideon, Alstom, JCB, Fosroc, Parker Meggitt, and IPT Aero.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize tripartite visits with employer representatives and apprentices to ensure quality reviews and assessments of off- and on-the-job evidence.
  • Act as a personal professional academic tutor for apprentices, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with academic staff and the Apprenticeship Hub to ensure adherence to systems and processes while maintaining quality and compliance.
  • Develop strong relationships with employers and apprentices to motivate and coach them throughout their apprenticeship journey.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a relevant engineering sector with apprentices and employers.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly to arrange online and face-to-face meetings and complete administrative tasks.
