Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Welding Engineering Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Levels 2 and 3, working 4 days per week for a total of 30 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments on apprentices in their workplace, ensuring a thorough evaluation of their skills and progress.
* Observe apprentices during their tasks to provide real-time feedback and guidance.
* Set and mark written assignments related to welding practices and theory.
* Complete regular progress reviews every 12 weeks to monitor and report on apprentice development.
* Prepare apprentices thoroughly for their end-point assessments, ensuring they meet the necessary standards and obtain required coding certificates.
Requirements:
* Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in Welding, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
* Formal assessing qualification.
* Familiarity with apprenticeship standards and requirements.
* Possession of a current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
Benefits:
