About the opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Vero HR Ltd. This role is perfect for a seasoned HR professional with a background in insurance, finance, or regulated industries.

As the HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in establishing and managing a small HR team, working alongside an outsourced HR function. Your responsibilities will include providing strategic HR advice to line managers and senior management, managing day-to-day HR operations, and setting up HR processes and procedures.

This position offers a great mix of operational and strategic responsibilities, where you will be hands-on with processes like payroll, recruitment, and employee relations. You will have the chance to shape the company's HR function while being actively involved in the implementation of processes that will support the company's growth.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience in a similar HR Business Partner role, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll, recruitment, and setting up HR frameworks.
  • Proven ability to provide HR advice and support to senior leadership.
  • Experience managing a small team and supporting their development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with key stakeholders.
  • Hands-on, proactive approach with a passion for driving HR improvements.
